Assignment Details:
• Maximum (i.e. under) 3000 words.
• A maximum of 2 pages of appendices, 1 cover page, and 1 table of contents,
and any references if applicable, will be in addition to the word limit. Words in
any images or tables with data are not counted towards the word limit. One
doc/dox file should be submitted.
Participants are asked to review a real-life program of their choice and write a 3,000
word report on the issues with the program, the impact of the program governance
structure that was present, and thereafter make recommendations for how to improve
program governance. This assessment will require candidates to reflect on the theory
learned in the classroom and apply it to a real-life program. Select a program where
you can collect and analyse sufficient secondary data to derive meaningful and strong
insights. It may be in the public, private or third sector. This is not typical ‘research’,
so sources may be from your selected organization’s website, your knowledge of the
program, government and consultancy reports as well as journal articles.
