In this assignment, you will analyze the skills of managers that managers need to
be effective throughout their careers and all stages of organizational growth. You
will be graded on the quality of your answers, the logic or organization of the
report, your language skills, and your writing skills.

Using a company of your choice or one mentioned in the textbook, write a 3–4
page paper that answers the following:
 Evaluate the five levels of managerial skills that increase manager effectiveness (refer to
Pyramid of Management and Leadership Development, p. 219).
 Review the “Five Levels of the Organization Hierarchy” on page 229. Choose two skills
from each level and:

o Evaluate how the managerial skills contribute to the success or decline of an
organization at each stage of organizational growth, and support with specific
examples.

Note: There are seven stages of organizational growth. To make sure you have

Overview
Changing, or even stating, a company’s values can be a long and arduous process, but
it often pales in comparison to the effort it takes to make sure they are honored,
implemented and projected. In this assignment, you evaluate how well your
chosen company from the first assignment has done in “walking the talk” and responding to
a social issue.
Preparation
Review your chosen company’s mission and values statements as well as other
sources that provide insight into the company’s values with regard to social
responsibility. Pick two of their primary values and research how the company manifests
those values. Simple examples might be the commitment to workplace diversity or
ecological sustainability.

Create a 3–5-minute (approximately 6–8 slides) PowerPoint presentation that evaluates
how well the company embodies its issue-related values. Your presentation should
contain detailed speaker’s notes that flesh out and support main points, ideas, or
conclusions and have supporting citations.
1. Summarize your chosen company's Supplier Responsibility information.
2. In your own words, explain how each aspect of your Supplier Code of Conduct is committed to
ethical business practices and social responsibility.
3. Discuss your company's stance on each of the following areas:

2. Identify the key ways that your company's Code of Conduct has changed since last year.

Capstone Project Overview

The purpose of this capstone project is for you to examine and solve real-world information assurance problems and apply associated techniques to create practical solutions. The course takes an integrative and senior security officer approach to address the policy, risk, and control opportunities within cyberspace and IT environments. Skills, experience, and knowledge gained through the completion of prerequisite courses will be used throughout each deliverable.
The project contents to be addressed are as follows:
  1. Week 3: Security Needs and Objectives.
  2. Week 8: Cybersecurity Policy Catalog.
  3. Week 10: Information Assurance Compliance With Government Regulations.

Submission Requirements

Write a 6–10 page paper in Word in which you:
  • Explain why certain employees and organizations have a deeper level of information assurance (IA) policy compliance.
  • Examine the factors that increased the individual's level of propensity for compliance.
  • Determine the internal and external factors affecting IA policy compliance.
  • Explain which of the organizational requirements poses difficulty in adopting technical features to enhance security policy.
  • Explain why factors related to IA and policy compliance are affected by government regulations.
  • Identify ways you can assess the cyber capability of an organization as a manager.
  • Use at least three quality (e.g., peer-reviewed journal articles, credible web resources, valid security policy documents) resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar websites do not qualify as quality resources.
