For this task, you will write a reflective essay in which you compare and contrast teacher reflective practice to teacher inquiry. Be sure to address the following in your essay:

  • Define teacher reflective practice and teacher inquiry in terms of how you use them in the classroom. Identify similarities and differences. (If you are not a teacher, define the terms based on how you would use them if you were asked to teach content to a group.)
  • Explain how a reflective practitioner can use teacher inquiry to improve teaching/education.
  • Provide examples of how teacher inquiry can be used to improve education and teaching.
  • Explain the extent to which you have used each of these practices in your teaching.
  • Reflect on your professional work. How could you begin using teacher inquiry in your current position? How can inquiry become a part of your work as an educator?














Length: 5-7 pages, not including title and reference pages.
References: Minimum of five scholarly resources.
Your essay should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your paper should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
